bridesmaid driving me crazy!

Hi all I have a HUGE Favor to ask!  I have a bridesmaid that is driveing me crazy and didn't order her dress.  It is now sold out!  So my question is does anyone know of someone that has the Davids Bridal #83175 in BLACK size 10 or 12? I will pay for it or we can rent it.  We need in June 26, 2010!!!  Please help!

This girl is driving me nuts!  She told me that "this is one of the worst things a bride can go through"....hello she is the one causing me to go though this!!!  Then she tells me that she is stressed out and has a lot going on so if I want her to have the dress then I need to help!!!!  She has had the dress info since January, it is now April and my wedding is in June!  Not a true friend!!!  I now know that!

I agree that this is her problem, not yours.  She needs to be making the calls to find this dress, or she can decide to attend as a guest.  I agree that you can let her wear a different black cocktail dress if you want her to stand up anyway, but really, you shouldn't be stressing out over her mistake.  Tell her it's up to her to handle it, and if she doesn't want to, then she can attend as a guest.

If you want her to be in the wedding why don't you just let her get a similar style?

DB dresses can sometimes be purchased off the rack.  Have her call local DB stores to ask if they have that style in stock in the correct size and color.  If not, they may be able to order it from another store. 

You have 10-11 weeks until the wedding.  I think my wedding dress took less than 2 months to arrive through DB, and a BM dress I purchased through that arrived even more quickly.  She should still be able to order.

That is a really generic style.  Just look at other designers for something similar.

Have your tried calling a bunch of local Davids Stores to see if they have a sample (in good condition)? I know the one near me has them discounted to almost nothing in lots of sizes whenever something gets sold out or discontinued. Good luck!
