Step Brothers not in wedding party?

help, my step brothers and i are not very close and my fiance does not want them as groomsmen but i think my stepfather (who is walking me down the ailse) will be hurt...what do i do...i don't really want them in my wedding party either but i don't want to offend my step father. what to do?

    What you could do is have them escort your mom down the aisle, give them bouts like the other VIPs and seat them in the front row. Or you could have them do readings in the wedding.

    Even just giving them a bout. without any role (reading, usher, whatnot) will be something a little extra to recognize them as family. I wouldn't feel pressured to include them in the wedding party (your side) if you are not close or whatever. And you can't dictate who your fiance has on his side, so don't force him either.
