Alternative titles for wedding party?

My FH is having a "best woman," but that sounds kinda funny to put on the program.  What should I call her?  Groom's honor attendant?  Something else?

Also, my ring bearer is not actually bearing any rings -- he's going to be escorting the flower girl and helping her to throw petals.  Should he have a more accurate title, and if so, what?  (He's going to be 5, so "junior groomsman" seems like a bit of a stretch.)

I was in this position for my best friend's wedding.  I sought the advice of The London Times Manners Columnist on how a woman should dress for this position.  In addition to the advice he gave, he added that I should be called the Best Woman.

Your RIng Bearer is the Ring Bearer.  No one ever trusted a little kid with the rings to begin with.

Our "ring bearer" is carrying a sign down the aisle, instead of rings/pillow/book/whatever, but we still call him our ring bearer.  I think junior groomsman for a 5 year old would be weirder than calling him a ring bearer.

I think best woman is an awesome title, but honor attendant is good too if the whole "best woman" thing is too weird for you guys.

We titled it as brides attendants and grooms attendants because I have a guy friend standing on my side.

In my case the groom wanted to wear a kilt and I was advised to wear a black watch skirt.

We have a Best Woman. We also have two Groom's Girls and two Bride's Men. There's no way I'm giving our Ring Bearer the actual rings but he's keeping the traditional name.
