Ladies, I have a very important question to ask, and I want your brutally honest opinions ... however if you don't have anything nice to say, please don't bother answering it:

Can our Book Club mascot be a badger that's eating a twatwaffle?

Gotta, you just don't understand. Where I'm from people get asked to be mascots that eat waffles all the time. It isn't rude! Every single one of my friends and family members has done this, and nobody ever complains about it, therefore, it can't possiblly be rude!

If I were artistically inclined, I could probably draw a twatwaffle...but I think that would border on porn, so maybe not. I like Stina's pic though! If someone could find a good pic of a waffle and photoshop that...it'd be awesome...

But meg, what about your friends that live across the country and are bringing their significant others who have never been exposed to this concept?  Have you asked them how they feel?  One of them might vomit on your designer shoes in disgust, it's a legitimate possibility.  And the rest will just talk behind your back and think you're an awful person.

Gotta, you don't know me! I am the least bridezilla person EVER! And nobody thinks I'm rude. If my OOT guests don't understand the tradition, they should understand that it's my day and if they really love me, they won't be offended.

You're so mean. I bet you only say people are going to gossip about me because your waffle-eating day isn't going to be that nice and you're just ugly and jealous. I feel sorry for your syrup provider!!!!!!!!

I think the badger should be wearing the track suit it got as a BM gift, too. With a personalized tote, filled with syrup.

It's not even a tradition in your culture, you just stole it from another one because people fork over $10 a pop to make the badger eat the waffle.  My syrup providers are maple trees, so have fun feeling bad for things without feelings.  And FYI, my waffle eating day is going to be SO much better than yours because all of my guests will know they're appreciated.   I hope yours have the guts to tell you how much fun they didn't have.

I pictured a badger with a waffle.. perhaps with the frozen waffle box in the background. Instead of Eggo, its personalized to say Twat. Then it'd really be a Twat Waffle. Leggo my Twat, bitch!
