Shoe color suggestions

My BMs are looking for some advice on what color shoes to wear. This is NOT a post about me saying "I want them to wear ____ color and they won't!", lol, it's our wedding party scratching our heads trying to think what would go best. Fashion advice, please.

My color is yellow, a lighter yellow, not bright neon. If they want to wear yellow shoes, hey, they can go for it, but short of getting them dyed to match, that's not an easy color to find in the stores, so what are other thoughts? We think black would be way too "bumblebee". White? Tan? Gold? Any thoughts? Truth be told, I'm not really sure how much this matters -- it's a long dress, who's going to care about their shoes? -- but my girls are asking, and I'm fashion-stupid, I think.

nude or silver. We were going with a yellow and gray scheme for awhile. Ultimately changed our minds but the combination is lovely.

Nude seems to be a common suggestion. But I really am a fashion dummy bc I'm not really sure what color "nude" is. : off to google... Thanks for the feedback!

silver would be easiest for them to find. My girls had decided to go with dark brown to match their dresses which I was fine with but I didn't want them to get shoes dyed to match because then for sure they will never use them again. They had a hard time finding dark brown so we ended up going metallic & they all found shoes they liked & each felt comfortable in & goes with the dress.

I think silver or gold would go very nicely. Nude would also.

I had a terrible time trying to find shoes for my girls in stores so I relied on online shopping. When you decide on a color, you MIGHT have more luck online.

Shoes should be choosen according to dress color....
And, black color is used by all dresses..

What are your other colors?  Depending on your overall color scheme, I think nude, white, silver, gray, even navy would all look nice.  I also black would be fine and not 'bumblebee-ish' at all (but then again I'm biased since my colors were black, white and yellow) if that's an option you want to leave open.  

Really though, don't stress about this too much, if they are wearing long dresses, their shoes won't even be that visible, so I'd encourage them to focus more on comfort than color.

I agree with the nude, silver, gold, bronze and grey suggestions. Nude and grey super re-usable, even in day-to-day wear, along with the metallics, although those are more special occassion. I think it depends on the feel you want and the time of day. Glam- go metallics. Soft- go nude. Modern- go gray. Is it a "buttercup" yellow? i think all would go well. I personally agree to not choose black- I don't think bumblebee but I think it may be too harsh against the yellow.

ETA: Or you could choose an accent color (if they want to go that way), maybe hot pink, purple, french blue, green?
