Has anyone catered a chinese banquet? IIf yes, how was it, what was the cost like, etc? I am Chinese and trying to work out logistics and places to look at for my wedding. I will be having the traditional tea ceremony in the morning (either at my house or the venue) followedd by the western ceremony, and then the banquet. My family has talked about possibly catering the chinese banquet if the venue allows outside cateres. I'm not really sure if this is even remotely possibly or cost effective. My wedding will be in my hometown of San Diego, and the top three Chinese Banquest restaurants I know of are Jasmine, Emerald, and Pearl. None of which are great.
If anyone has other suggests on banquet places in San Diego or catering. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
