Strapless dress

I just bought my dress and it is strapless. I am getting married on a Sunday at my shul. I am not sure if I need to wear something during the ceremony or do you think I can get away with it? TIA

we are not getting married in a shul, but we are having an orthodox rabbi.  my fiance and FMIL told me that a veil that covers my shoulders is not enough, i have to have a bolero or some kind of wrap as well.

I bought a gorgeous strapless lazaro gown and then decided that during our modern orthodox ceremony I want to be covered up!!! Our rabbi was actually pretty flexible with this (he married sister in law and she was practically hanging out of her gown!!!) but I chose to have a jacket made to wear over that covers everything for the ceremony, afterwards I will take it off and do a "big reveal"....I think it's nice to be covered up furing the ceremony even if you are less observant out of respect to g-d but that's just my opinion....depends on rabbi, shul, family etc....our family etc would have been fine if i didnt cover but i wanted to
