Kippot

It's not weird to have Kippot for a ceremony that is being held in a hotel, is it? It is a conservative ceremony, everything being done in Hebrew and then translated. I just assumed we would have Kippot but then my mom asked if you still do if it's not in Synagogue so it got me wondering if I was wrong...

I've only been to jewish weddings outside of a synagogue - and they all still had kippot. Mine is in a hotel - and we are getting them.

I'm reform, my shul doesn't require kippot and I'm getting married at a hotel.... but I'm still offering kippot to the guests because I don't know their level of observance. most of the other girls have told me that it's just weird not to see kippot at a Jewish wedding.

IMO, no matter what affiliation.. reform, conservative etc yoy always have kippot for Jewish weddings. It's a sign of respect.
