Hey - I've never posted here but I'm getting married soon and trying to finish our program text.  We are going for very simple programs and the majority of people at the wedding will have some familiarity with jewish weddings.  Below is what we are thinking for the "ceremony" page of the program.  Do you have any thoughts on this? Is there anything I left out?thanks! Ceremony Processional Greetings Kiddush Birkat Erusin (Betrothal Blessings) Ring Ceremony Reading of the Ketubah Seven Marriage Blessings Pronouncement of the couple Breaking of the Glass Recessional and Yihud   About our ChuppahThe chuppah we are being married under was handmade by PV and we are honored to be the sixth couple to be married under it.  Our chuppah covering is made of two talits.  One is Mike’s talit which was given to him by his Aunt Susan.  The other is Sharon’s grandfather Isadore’s talit.

    I think it is good. If you are going to speak the "about the chuppah," perhaps bring in aunt susan to say something about it and isadore if they can?

    interesting idea regarding talking about the chuppah. I hadn't really thought about that. thanks for the feedback.
