    South Side, I am not sure if FtSam is the same or if you can apply but There is also Randolph AFB and Lackland AFB that you can apply to. I am not a teacher but looked into it for a while and as I am getting married and pursuing housing am also fairly familiar with school districts. Personally I would want to be in certain schools in NEISD or Alamo heights or any of the DoD schools. I believe Judson has one of the best pay grades though. This is also an area with a large number of private schools and while the pay is not as good every teacher I ever had said they perferred the parochial schools over the public ones. Hope this helps!
