West coast Florida....

Hey All -- I was wondering if you had any recommendations for:(1) Band - play Jewish, Latin and everyday wedding music(2) Kosher wedding cake providerin and around the west coast of Florida?? My wedding itself will be in St. Petersburg, FL. Any recs would be greatly appreciated!

    band - Mike Eisenstadt Band - we looked into them briefly - they play a lot of klezmer and are familiar with that and other Jewish music kosher cake - there's a Publix in Carrolwood (I forget which one exactly) that my friend is using (I can ask her for specifics if you want) are you related to Rabbi Luski from CBI?

    Funny those are the same options we have now, ha. Yes...I'm his daughter. So this is a big to-do for him and the community, as you can imagine. Why did you end up not using Mike, just curious, if you don't mind sharing?

    That's funny, small world.  I was the youth director there a few yrs. ago.  We didn't use Mike Eisenstadt because we listened to the music on their website and weren't thrilled with the sound.

    We are using the Don Juceam Orchestra.  He is "Tampa Bay's Frank Sinatra" and has a 7 piece orchestra.  He is AWESOME. We're really excited.  As far as hora music, he said he and the band could do it, but I might have to send him specific names of songs and possibly the sheet music, too.

    FYI...we got our cake at Chocolate Pi.....soooo yummy (even a year later!) Not sure about the band....we used Becca's brother as our DJ and he was awesome.
