circling and train question

We're planning to do the circles where I circle 3 times, he circles 3 times and then we circle each other once.  Just realized -- I don't know how this works with a train.  My train isn't huge or anything, but am nervous about the whole thing will work.  Definitely don't want to trip over my train!  btw, I don't have a bridal party who will be up there to help.  Our parents will all be at the chuppah, and then my sisters and his brother and other friend will be holding the chuppah. That's it re: official bridal party.Would appreciate any advice...

Would your mom be able to hold your train?

I held my own train, but, for the life of me, I couldn't tell you who handed it to me.  Could your mother hand it to you?  Or, is there an aunt or someone in the front row who could hand it to you and then fluff it out for you when you're done?

Maybe your mom could stay behind with you? My bimah is up about 6 stairs. After I walk down with my parents, my dad is going up to step to the side of the steps, and my mom is helping me circle my fiance before the steps. After I am fixed, my mom is walking up with my dad, and then my fiance and I walk up together. Fiance's parents will already be up on the bimah under the chuppah watching.

We practiced the circling, but it was still hard! After I did my circles, my train was kinda bunched up behind me, so it wasn't hard for him to get around. We also did this thing where we stepped toward the middle for each person to circle around the other. I wish I could explain it online though!

My mom carried my train while I did my 3 circles - then she went to stand next to my dad. DH circled 3 times, made slightly bigger steps to get over/around the train, then I kind of kicked it out of the way when we did our 1 circle together. Mom and I practiced at my last dress fitting (it wasn't a super long train, just a few feet). DH and I practiced walking around in our regular clothes. So my advice: practice for 5 minutes, and then when it comes to the ceremony, hold your FI's hand and look at each other when you do your circling :)

Glad I thought to post here! Thanks everyone for your advice! I'll ask my mom and plan to practice after I put my dress on day of since I'm supposed to pick my dress up today and she can't join.

My rabbi told me to hold the train in my left hand, circle, then have someone fix it after.

My dress had a long lace train with silk ribbon running down from my waist all the way to the end of the train, I HAD to carry it with me or else I would tie up my DH. My dress luckily had a hand strap (probably intended for hanging purposes) but for me, served a dual purpose... I don't remember if someone helped me get the train or how I did it, but, I held onto the little strap and carried around, it looked really beautiful in pictures. I did all 7 circles myself. Afterward my MOH fluffed me out. I will try to post a picture tonight
