    Very nice.  And I disagree with one of the comments posted - I don't find the veilng archaic in the least.  In fact, it can be one of the most beautiful aspects of the ceremony and brings many soon-to-be wives (and family members) to tears.

    I agree, it's not archaic at all. The origin is rather old indeed, but it's a beautiful tradition :)
