Cut the challah and wine blessing?

I remember having this done at my Bat Mitzvah at the start of the reception... do both happen at the wedding also?

only the challah blessing is done at the reception the wine is done during the ceremony

We did both at our reception.... we wanted to give honors to people, and nother says you cant do it in both
