Hi ladies- need some recommendations here.
DH and I were invited to a b'nai mitzvah. The kids are twins- boy and girl- and it is thanksgiving weekend (local). We were thinking of giving gifts rather than cash. I am friendly with the parents, we have been to the home once, but the mom and I did weight watchers together. I am the kids Kadima advisor and several times a year fill in for the student rabbi running a program on Saturday's during services and subtitute teaching on Sunday (student rabbi comes in each weekend from NYC but onweekends he cannot, I am the go to person).
Anyhow, I have known the kids since last fall and really adore them and want to get each of them something nice, unfortuantely, the budget is about $100 total.
Any website and/or gift suggestions? I was thinking of a hebrew nameplate necklace for the girl, not sure about boy. I think kiddush cups are totally out,a s they will probably get them from close family and, honestly, are sort of boring.
so I need a. website locations for ordering and b. gift ideas for both children.
