kippot order question

Hi ladies,

First of all let me introduce myself...I'm Gabi and live in South Florida...I just now realized there is a jewish wedding board lol!

I'm planning on ordering suede kippot from mazeltops however I'm stuck on color...my bridesmaids dresses are bronze and then men will be wearing matching vests. FI will be in ivory. I don't think they make bronze color kippot and that's originally what I wanted to get so they match. My wedding colors are ivory, champagne with touches of light pink and gold.

What color should I order them in? Should I just go with black since that will match their tuxes and get an ivory one for FI? I am planning on getting the embossed pattern of checkerboard just to be different.

Hi Gabi, I'm Ilyse and welcome to the board. Everyone here is so nice and helpful!

I think the black kippot would be lovely for the gm's and the male guests (that's what I'm doing   ). 

I also really like the idea of making your fi's a little bit different (either with the black or the ivory) and adding in the pattern. I may have to steal that from you!

I think if your affair will be a bit more formal or taking place at night, then go black - which will always allow your guests to get the most uses.  If it's more casual or will be earlier in the day, I think ivory would be nice and a change from going black.

I'm in Miami and will be ordering my kippot from kippotworld.com The owner lives in North Miami Beach. I saw on her site she has silk kippot and you might be able to find something to match your colours there (they're more $ than suede). You can also book an appointment to see her kippot in person, in her home.
