eeeee!!!!!  I've got almost everything left!!!  I've finally decided on the colors!  Purple and gold with splashes of yellow.  My girls will be in purple dresses, still deciding what the guys will wear.  Still haven't gotten the girls dresses but we know what we want and what store has it, lol!  Have an appt to speak with my WC to finalize the ceremony and reception and my appts for make-up, mani and pedi.

Have to work on music as well.

I'm sending out invitations tomorrow and have a hair/makeup trial this week. Next week I go to have my fitting for my dress and I'm going to try and get the programs done before Christmas. So excited to be getting so close.

Sent out invites on Saturday!! Pretty happy about that, and I updated our wedding website! But I know I really have so much more to do and no time to do it! MEEP!

Not sure where you are ordering your BM dresses from but you should check on shipping dates. Long story short my girls ordered a month ago and now that company isn't working with the designer and we found out dresses were never ordered. We had to order from a new company plus pay "rush cut" fee's just to have them back in early feb (wedding 2/23) so there is enough time for alterations.

I feel like I have something wedding related planned for every weekend until the big day. Florist, DJ, hair trials, make up trials, fittings, tastings, on and on.. So much to do! Starting to get stressed out. I'm so consumped with the wedding that I could care less about Christman. =/

Between Christmas and work deadlines, I've hardly had any time to think about how close it is!  At least we managed to do enough earlier that there's not a ton left.  Just lots and lots of little detail things, picking songs & vows, finalizing flowers, etc.  I should get our invites sometime next week, I think, and we're sending them out around NY's.

It looks like we're going to get a few dance lessons (FI knows ballroom, I don't!) for our first dance, and I'm really excited for that to start!  Also my shower is January 5th!

I just received my invites today for my 2/9 wedding! Also did my hair trial today, and got our marriage license. I still have sooo much to do it seems. Music. Ceremony. Addressing/sending invitations. Book transportation. Buy RINGS! Shoes. Jewerly. Hotel. Finish buying decor/ vases, etc. Most of the big things are done, but there are 10,000 little things. Schedule my fitting. Things just keep coming to me. Rent chuppah. Plan rehearsal dinner.

Signed contract for:
Venue- paid in full
Caterer- paid 1/2. The other half is due 3 days before the event
DJ- paid 1/2. Rest due on day of event
Linen- tablecloths, overlays, chair covers, sashes (for reception)- paid in full. May possibly need table skirts for buffert tables

Centerpieces - for 13 tables and Sweetheart table mostly done only need to find table clothes for sweethearts table

Layout/order of events for ceremony and reception completed
Menu for social hour and dinner completed  (we had 2 tasting YUM-O)
Bar- All liquor, soda, capri-suns. purchased for Bar.we need napkins
Music- have all songs choosen will meet with composer/music arranger on 12/29
Dress: Fitting # 1 scheduled for 12/5. Mom os working on my brooch bouquet. I have shoes, veils x2 & hair barrette. Still need bra, slip. I have accessories but just need to decide which to wear and when.
Party favors for children- done
Tuxedo- chosen FI & my dad placed their orders, Need to get ring bearer fitted
Flowers for little girls -done
Hair- 2 trails undermy belt. I have one more to complete
Programs- FI started working on the program @ 2 weeks ago. He is a artist by profession...It is gorgeous. He is known for his quick caricatures so the front page will probable be a caricature of us in wedding regalia or one of his favorite photos of us. I Love the layout so far. Since we both love the arts it is in the form of a Play Bill. We need to decide on paper and where to print.
Signage- We have product. FI will wait until January before he starts on sign for bar, social hour, dinner menu.
Sign-in book- so far it looks like it will be some type of mosaic done by FI. will not start until he finishes program. If the mosaic doesn't work out I am considering a photo book of some sort
Dinnerware- purchased napkin, utensil. Check out rentals for plates, glasses. Will npt order until Mid January
Invitation-Made by FI with is wonderful calligraphy, sent in November. We have received a few RSVP and gifts already. YAHOOOO
CORSAGE- for mothers, Botinerre for dads and ring bearer
Cake Table- decorations done may need more linen

Dress for my Junior Bride
I need a slip but refuse to pay $70 for a slip that  I will only wear once. Cant seem to find one in second hand store

What's done :

- dress fitting;

- pick bridesmaid dresses;

- hair trial;

- find wedding bands;

- find music for ceremony procession and for our first dance;

- book hotel room;

- buy all accessories (jewels, shoes, jacket);

What's left :

- rent tuxes;

- make bouquets;

- make centerpieces (DIY project - strings of LED lights in the mail as I type!);

- find make-up artist;

- write the vows and finalise ceremony with officiant;

- make music list for the evening

- find music for ceremony exit and our grand entrance before dinner

- decide on our dessert with our pastry cook;

- prepare bathroom baskets;

- buy bridal party and parents gifts.

The list is never ending; I'm forgetting stuff for sure!

We are just a few days away from the two month mark! Still feels like a lot to do but we're trying to knock a few things out a week.

I feel like we are getting so close. Even though I love Christmas, I will be glad for Christmas to be over so I can get back to focusing on wedding stuff. 

Things I need to do still:

-finish programs

-escort cards

-seating chart

-make final payments for everyone

-Make Mr. and Mrs. signs for the chairs

-make garters (mom's making them)

-Welcome bags (mom's making these too)

-meet with photographer again to figure out day of schedule

-bridal shower

-bachelorette party

I'm sure there are other things that I am forgetting. I'm excited that we have started to receive RSVPs back. We also had a bit of an issue where we received invites back. My fiance attempted to help with sealing the envelopes and applying stamps. Well he missed the stamps on a handful of them. Oops. haha.
