Any June 17th Brides?

I'm your bride sister...LOL..oh my goodness, what made you decide to have your wedding on a sunday...i thought i ws the only one..it's very uncommon where i live..everyone has there wedding on saturday..how's the planning going for you

I'm thread crashing ... not June 17th, but June 24th and also a Sunday.  I love the idea of a Sunday wedding, plus we are getting discounts from vendors for being on an "off" day.  Ours is somewhat of a destination wedding, so the reasoning was that if we had it on the traditional Saturday, guests would most likely take off and travel on Friday.  Our ceremony is Sunday afternoon, so guests can opt to leave early and make it home, or take off the Monday.

we're doing sunday cause my parents are "seventh day adventist"..and they don't do wedding on saturday..so sunday it is..our ceremony is i the afternoon also...so we won't be havig lots of speeches at the reception..we want to get the party started early as we know people won't be staying long cause of the sunday..im use to it cause my brother and sister got married on a sunday and they both turned out fine...also does help for discounts

<div>Hi! We chose it for the date, it just happened to be a Sunday. It was FI's grandparent's anniversary and they both recently passed away. It's uncommon around here too, Saturday is the main wedding day. <div>

well, same here...all the major suff is taken care of..just minor things to follow up with..no stress here....i'm hoping, like we all are for a day of perfection....im really hoping for no rain as our ceremony is outside..so cross ur fingers for me!!
