Engagement Pic Location

FI and I are taking our engagement pictures in 2 weeks, and need to figure out where exactly to take them. I really want to do pictures on the boardwalk (not Jersey Shore Style at Seaside, but a different boardwalk) but I'm afraid it'll be way too crowded since its a holiday weekend and the "official start of summer". Another place that looks cool is Monmouth University where they filmed the movie Annie.

I voted park, but there's no reason why you couldn't go to more than one place if they are relatively close together. FI and I went to several places with our photographer for engagement shots.

<div>Multiple locations are very common.  Maybe even the university has some great outdoor areas you can snap a few pictures.  If it's close to the beach, head over to a boardwalk for a half hour too.</div>

i voted park but that's our style more.  i do like outdoor more than indoor, i think boardwalk and beach would be super cute!

see, i think the same. but part of me wants to save it for the wedding day... because lets face it, theres no way i'm going in the sand in a gown!

i think we're going to do beach/boardwalk as long as my photographer doesn't think it'll be too crazy being a holiday weekend.

Multiple locations are usually not only common, but often encouraged - both photographers we met with said that we should do multiple locations.  I say if they're close enough, do both.  If not, and you can take pictures both indoors and outdoors at the university, I'd go with that, especially as the semester is sure to be done when you take your pictures!

I didn't vote. I am a huge fan of outdoor picures. I would stay away from crowds though.
I would go with the park or beach.

I didn't vote.  I would pick the location that fits with you and your FI best and see if you can possibly add another location or 2 pending time/availability.  Maybe your local board or photographer can also recommend a few great places.
