I am so relieved.. I booked out DJ last night.
I did a ton of research and had found a DJ that had great reviews, experience, and a decent price $550 for both the ceremony and reception... but when we went to sign the contract my FI wanted a song with a swear word in it and they refused to play it. This did not sit well with my FI.. he was really annoyed by it.
So I started getting quotes from other DJ's and they soooo much more expensive $900-$1300... We could probably work it into the budget but I just didn't want to pay that much. I was starting to lose hope.. either book the DJ's who won't play a song with a swear word for cheap.. or pay almost double just to play one song. (although I think it was more about principle to the FI than it was the one song)
Well I got a quote from a DJ yesterday for $450! yay! and his response was "It's your wedding, I will play whatever you want to hear" glad to have this checked off.. it was starting to stress me out
