We all have posted some wr related news this week so now let's see it all in one post. 

We bought my dress before but now we have the veil, tiara, jewelery picked out (will buy in a few months) and i also had my shoes so i only need a bolero jacket and i am complete.

We got the band, instead of dj.

I got my bridesmaids all up to date and only have 1 left to ask, i know you say wait but i am less than 6 months from the social, i need help with it and i also don't want to ask too close to the social and have them think i only want them when it comes crunch time. I am not worried about things changing. 

I got my first silent auction prize for the social and i am going around in the next couple days to get the letters out. 

I believe there is more but i can't remember.

We meet with an amazing florist/wedding planned this weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed her quote is something we can afford.

I ordered a lot more WR related stuff off Vistaprint on saturday since I had my LivingSocial deal to use :-)

I bought: another lawn sign to direct people to the venue, lawn sign stands, 2 mugs to use for holding pens for the guestbook/card box/place card table, 5 personalized pens for guestbook or whatever we decide to have, 2 business card holders for my future photosharing cards, small stickers with our names and date for potential favors (if we have favors, ha), 'we just got hitched' car door magnet.

I think that was all I got :-P

I love VP saltz, sounds like you got some good stuff, i have a lawn sign with our names on it and i love it, everytime i see it i am like eek lol. I have car door magnets too but not a just got hitched one, i should check that out lol. I love getting that stuff in the mail.

I made the final decision on my intivation design and will now work on the other inserts and I ordered color sample card stock.

I am meeting with 2 florists today, so hopefully that will be a check soon enough.

Talked to my venue coordinator about getting a black & white dance floor!!!  Looks like it will happen, but she said to wait until we get closer.

I love how someone always keeps up with the weekly checks when I can't jump on here at work. 


This week I did mock ups on my bouquets, decided what kind of veil I want, and narrowed down some music selections.

We took our engagement pics last week and we finalized the date for the engagement party FI's parent's friends are throwing for us--December 30! Super excited!

I haven't done anything vendor-wise in a few weeks. I go through cycles where I work on a lot of stuff for a few weeks and then do nothing for a few weeks. I need to get on some stuff because I've been doing nothing for a while now and it's making me nervous! Haha.

I looked at veils and had a discussion with a seamstress friend of mine what type of dress I really want and she's pricing some out to see making vs. buying.  She might even be able to copy that dream dress I posted.

My invites (from VP) were delivered on Friday!  If you can be absolutely in love with pieces of paper, I am.  The box is still sitting on the coffee table where I opened it and I keep looking at them

I was picked to spin a "wedding wheel" on a local tv show that was doing a wedding week this week with all wedding related topics. So on Thursday they told our story and spun the wheel and I won a gift certificate to a dj service. I already booked my band, but the dj service does photobooths and I was planning on booking one anyway! So I got that booked this week. That was the only wedding check I got done.
