FI and I just got back from booking our DJ tonight. He's a good friend of mine who I worked with for a summer, and he worked with my dad for several years. I honestly wasn't seriously looking forward to music so far, but now I am absolutely PSYCHED for it!
I knew he absolutely loves what he does when I worked with him, but he really knows his stuff and it's easy to see how excited he gets to do his DJ work. And because it's me, he's throwing in a whole lighting package for our dance floor, including lasers and some uplighting. What's even more exciting for me is that he doesn't do any of the cheesy games that I hear about all the time - all music, all night, which is exactly what I wanted!
I am SO thrilled, this is going to be awesome, and it's so nice to have the personal touch of our whole reception being MC'd by a friend for the whole night
