Visiting Ceremony and Reception sites

We are going to the beach next week so we are going to stop in and see the place we are having our dinner!  I am so excited!  Does anyone else have their reception site picked yet?

I think most of the girls already on this board have had their venues booked for quit some time now.  Ours has been booked since last July.  I love going to check it out.  My family has timeshare there, so I'll get to visit this coming July as well and I was just there for a bridal expo in March.  It's so much fun imagining how everything will look.

We just set ours in stone a couple weeks ago. It is so nice to not have to worry about it anymore! It was stressing me out.

My Ceremony and Reception will be at the same place, we set our date in stone a couple months ago. It feels really good to have a date set and have something to look forward to :-)

Yay, that's exciting! We booked ours a little over a month ago. We are going back to see it in the beginning of May and going to meet with possible vendors and do some tastings! I'm excited.

We've had ours booked since Feb.  The ceremony and reception are at the same place.  I was really glad to have that checked off the list.  You will too!!

We booked our venue back in December.  Once you have your venue things get a lot easier.

We booked ours in February, I was so excited!  There's also a bridal expo at my venue next month that I'm going to with my mother to visit it again.  I can't wait to book everything else...

We booked in January, but our site was just a bunch of wood framing at the time.  It's almost done now.

We booked ours at the end of December - it's being remodeled and I tend to "stalk" it. It's close tor my house and I drive sort of by the street it's on every day so I detour a lot and drive by, see how the remodeling is coming, look at the outside where pictures can be taken now that it's nicer out - yes I'm crazy, I know!

i think we are one of the few couples on here who haven't booked anything yet.  we got engaged in december and live in montana but are getting married in massachusetts.  we were out there at christmas and visited a few places, but are going back in may for a wedding planning trip.  we'll book something then.
