R was released from the hospital today! I called the hosptial tonight because I hadn't heard from my mom yesterday or today, and I was concerned. One of the nurses told me that he was discharged today and was chatting non-stop that he was happy he wasn't going to be in for his b.day and that he was going to see me in 3 days and couldn't wait to show me his crutches.
I just want to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers. I can honestly say that prayer does work, because this is the second time in his short life that R has had a potentially life-threatening illness, and had lots of people IRL and online praying for him and he has come through just fine. So thanks again for all the good vibes, I definitely appreciate it more than words can say.
Oh, and I don't know if sweetcanadian has been around but I just saw her FB and her mom is on the mend and may get to go home soon too
