I'm pretty much done addressing our invitations!!!!

There are a couple that I want to change so that if it's a couple, the girls name is on the top line and the guy's is on the second as well as a couple of widow's that I want to use Mrs. husband's name. With all of those there are only about 15, so I have 235 completely done!!

FI also wrote the number inside the response envelopes last night in case a guest doesn't write their name on the response card.

Now we're just waiting on our Moo cards to start the assembly process!! I'm planning on putting them in the mail this Saturday, so guests will get them with 2 months out and 1 month to send in their responses.

We also got our rehearsal dinner invites in the mail this weekend!! They look awesome and I'm excited to have a fun invitation to send out shortly after we send out our invitations since those are so formal.

The wedding this weekend was great and I'll do a full recap when I have a little more time.

NWR: FI gets sworn in as an attorney for the North Carolina 10th circuit today and I couldn't be prouder. FILs are coming up, so it should be a good day. I'm just happy their taking time off work to do something to actually support FI.

I had my first dress fitting yesterday! It was great. I wish they would have brought a camera for the scrapbook. Oh well.

We met with the organist & selected our music.  Let me tell you, when he got to the song I would walk into, he played the traditional Bridal March "here comes the bride" tune & I started to cry.   I said, oh no, we can't have that one...  So we are being different, the girls are walking into Pachabel & I am walking in to Trumpet Voluntary.  They are both in the same key & it blended nicely. It made it seem more grandioso to me & I smiled instead of crying...
My shower is this weekend - yeah, can't wait (to get it over with, I hate showers of any type) LOL

--Shopping at Ikea was successfull. Bought 20 frames to create chalkboards for signs. Bought 50 tolbsy frames for table numbers and other printed products. And bought some planters for our escort card display
--On the way to Ikea my sister and I worked as a team to finish stuffing and sealing all our envelopes. I also numbered all the RSVP cards before putting them in the envelope. Really annoying, but it will probably be worth it! Invites are ready to go, except for a few postage and address changes! Woo hoo!!
--This week I am taking a half day off work to do some WR projects with a friend who is in town. So excited!

Last of the invites are getting sealed tonight and will be sent off in the mail on Tuesday!  Also working on shower TY cards from my shower yesterday.

I had an eventful wedding weekend!!

-I finished stamping our monogram on the last 150 napkins... I am glad to have this done! I think they turned out super cute too.

-I had my hair and makeup trial on Saturday.... it couldnt have gone better! Here are some pics:

-Finalized the guest list this weekend; only took a 5 months
-We were finally approved for our house! We close May 1st

Kelsey - that is so exciting! Congrats to your FI, I can only imagine how proud you must be!

This morning I got a call saying our hotel block is FULL - invites have been out for a week, and I have only gotten international RSVPs cards back, yet 20 rooms booked! As well as 10 at the other hotel!  Also, I can't get anymore rooms, as the whole hotels are booked now for that weekend! So freaking out a little, and am in contact with a few other hotels about getting rooms blocked off ASAP!

I got the gifts for the bridesmaids purchased, and I had my final fitting on Saturday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how much dress turned out. It's so much prettier with the alterations completed (length brought up, sweetheart neckline, new lace for the corset, cups put in). I'm so pleased with it and don't think I could have ever made a better choice.

Some people have received my invitations (I mailed them Tues or Wed) and I've gotten so much great feedback on them! People are really impressed! Even though I highly doubt there will be anything there, I'm already itching to check my mailbox this afternoon after work!

I've decided on my to-do list for today is to make a master task list of remaining details to complete. Stressing a bit!

My mom's closet and her dining room have been wedding central for quite a while now so we pulled everything into the guest room and started sorting through it all.  It was great seeing that there really isn't a whole lot left to be done.  Things were so spread out, we finally condensed most of it down to just a few tubs.  I was a little worried the car would be jam packed when we made the drive to Jersey, but it really will not be that bad.

In gathering everything, I realized that even though the cardstock for the table numbers is very pretty, it is very ugly with everything else (favor boxes, place cards, cocktail napkins..).  So I guess I'll be making another trip to Archivers sometime soon to find better coordinating cardstock.

Kelsey, that is great about FI!! Such a proud and happy day for you both.

I am researching videographers. I have emailed a couple colleges about students willing to do it for cheaper then professional videographers. I don't think my mom realized how expensive they were when my nanny told her she would be willing to pay for one. Hoping I hear some good news soon.

• Got our vistaprint order on friday that included our rehearsal invitiation.  Those are all ready to go out. 
• the chinese take out boxes are all finished for our candy buffet.  Ribbon wrapped around all 120 of them with a sticker
• started our program fan.  Patterned cardstock folded in half with a handle.  Still need to make the actual program part though.
• finished my bouquet.  Now to start on the other.
• we went to Lowe's and got mirrors for the tables
• And I started writing my vows

I had my last shower (with FI's family) on Saturday and bachelorette afterward. It was a blast!

My seating plan is coming together well and is much easier to do as RSVPs come in than all at once.

I ordered my rehearsal dress and it should be here tomorrow!

- we also figured out the tuxes... everybody but my Dad got sized and put their deposit down.

- I think we narrowed it down to either Lifehouse's you and me or Areosmith's Don't want to miss a thing for our first song.

- we started started re-doing our card box but it looks purple so now we are going to change it again!
