Oh boy...with less than a year to go, I am starting to get a tad bit worried that I don't have some big checks out of the way yet! No dress, haven't finalized the DJ contract, still unsure about my centerpieces and favors, and feeling overwhelmed when it comes to flowers!
Flowers are beautiful, yes, but I have always been the type of girl who would prefer a heartfelt card on Valentine's day to roses because let's face it, they are just going to die in a week anyway. So I am trying to price out florists and the numbers are making me have a panic attack.
Are corsages/boutineers required for grandparents? We are blessed to have all 8 grandparents still alive and kickin, not to mention two great grandmothers. I am wondering if we don't get some type of flowers to signify their relationship to us, is that rude? I definitely don't want to offend our family members.
Also, the Fi's dad has a girlfriend...should she get some type of corsage? I have asked many friends, and Fi and his brother and they have all said no, but one florist said that would be hurtful to her. (As a sidenote, said GF is the reason that the FILs are divorced...if that matters?)
I am feeling so lost and stressed over this! Please help!
