June 2012 Weddings

What part of your honeymoon are you most looking forward to?

Besides the lovin', what are you daydreaming about the most?

I'm thinking about the eating, especially in Napa. FI has calendar and phone reminders to make reservations at the French Laundry!

GOING TO DISNEYWORLD. Without my parents. Just FI and I. It's only the second vacation I've taken without my parents. The other one I went to Europe with my cousin and a bunch of highschoolers.
  • the food and drinking yummy margaritas by the pool!

  • Drinking in the pool. I mean, I do it all the time at home but something about a bar in a pool really makes me happy =)

  • Doing nothing! Laying by the pool with a rum runner, daiquiri, or any other adult beverage. Oh and our swim out room!

  • Just getting away for an entire week just FI (then DH!!!) and me. We've never been away just the two of us for more than 3 days and I think it's going to be a wonderful adventure!
  • Nice beaches and swimming in a nice warm ocean.

  • Besides being lazy, I'm excited for snorkeling and going for walks on the beach and exploring the island.

Must be nice. I've never been allowed to go away with just FI for even one night. It was nice on vacation with his parents two years ago though. They let us have our own room. If my parents knew that, they'd flip out.

Diamond, the cruise we went on when I was 12 had one of those in the pool. Now that I'm of age, I can fully appreciate how awesome that was for the adults.
  • Kelsey, we also haven't taken a vacation together for an entire week.

Tara, when my family went on a Carribean cruise, one of the resorts we went to had a bar in the pool and it was so nice!

Looking forward to the beach! I'm a beach snob since I am from the Caribbean, so I only go to the beach when I'm in the Caribbean. We'll be in Bermuda, and they definitely have great beaches. I'm also looking forward to being on a cruise and ordering whatever the heck food I want to eat! Yay for room service!

We're leaving Raleigh Sunday afternoon and planning on getting back the following Saturday, so a week.

  • I'm excited to go out of the country for the first time. And it's my first real vacation!

Also, I am excited to unlimited food and drinks for a week. I just can't wait!
  • I'm excited to not have anything to worry about since the wedding will be over, but mostly the beach. I know FI wants to do a lot of things instead of just lay there, but we decided that we each get one day to plan as doing whatever one of us wants so that we both are happy. On my day we'll get a couples massage on the beach and then spend the day laying out with our butler (!!!) bringing us drinks. On FI's day we're going to be going to the Greg Norman-designed golf course, he's pretty pumped. I have a feeling I'll end up on cart-driving duty, but that is fiiiiiine with me!

  • We aren't going on one right away but when we finally get to go, I will just be excited to explore somewhere new with my DH (same last name on our plane tickets!!!!) We LOVE to travel and see new places with him! Also, relaxing on the beach somewhere with a cold beer/cocktail in hand is ALWAYS a good idea!

  • The beach for sure! I'm also excited to just explore a new country with different wildlife and being so close to the ocean. FI is looking forward to the different beer. There is a bar with 150 beer on tap and his goal is to try everyone of them :)

  • Just getting away from everything and having no responsibilities for a whole week. We also have never been on a vacation longer than 3 days together (without the kids) so this will be wonderful. Also, it is his first time on a plane so I am looking forward to seeing his reaction :)

  • I'm looking forward to relaxing and experiencing a country that neither of us has ever been to with FI! Beach time, trying new foods, snorkeling....it's all going to be great. And we're going to be there for TEN days!!!

Oooh - I'm also excited about seeing sea turtles. We're going to Tortuga island and I hope to see several even though it's early for mating/hatching season.
  • We are obstaining....so

    THE SEX!! lol

And just being able to be together each day. Since we live an hour and a half apart, that is HUGE FOR US!

And falling asleep together...as long as he doesn't snore too loud. LOL
