I will have 6 or 8 ft rectangle banquet tables. Centerpieces will be a vase of flowers, one per table. There wouldn't be anything else on the tables except for tableware.
I am picturing something like this.... (as far as lighting goes)

I want to take advantage of the candle coupon today.

Edit: I might add a table runner. Also, there will be twinkle lights on the celing of the tents.

I was thinking 5 or so votives, which is pretty close to what you ladies suggested.
I also was thinking of doing the votives, with some tea lights, but I don't think they will burn long enough. Most tea lights only burn for about 4 hours. We will be partying long after that!
