Custom Dress - cross your fingers!

I couldn’t find anything that I loved so I decided to have it custom made in China!  We did the same with the ring; I took elements from three rings and combined then into my dream ring - so I am hoping combining the elements from 3 dresses works out the same.

I know China is risky - but I have worked with China suppliers for work here and there and my MOH does all her business in China so she has helped me communicate with the supplier.  It will either be the dress of my dreams or a total disaster - I guess we will find out in 2 months when it gets here!

There are so, so many girls on the Wedding Bee boards that have done this.  I'm so excited for you!

Have you seen the reviews of the different Chinese replica makers?  The girls over there have posted lots of advice for working with the different companies. 

What are the three dresses?

I'd love to see the 3 dresses you're "combining" for this!

And it's coming in just 2 months?  That's really fast - if it turns out to be an absolute disaster, you'll still have time to shop for something else.  I certainly hope it doesn't come to that, though - I'm excited to see your finished product!  I hope it turns out well for you

I wish I would have known this!  I feel good about the supplier I choose - but I am def going to join this board and get ome advice. 

Here is the main dress it is based off of.  I just changed the neck line since I am big chested and made it open backed.  I dont have the other pictures on this computer but an post later.

I will be ordering mine from China too when the time comes. I am trying to lose weight so I want to wait a but. My reasoning is first off, this is a second wedding for me and I can't justify paying a lot for it. Second of all, I am in love with Lazaro 3018. I could never afford that even in my wildest dreams.

I too am hoping to lose weight - so I ordered it a size too big and will have it altered down when the time comes.  I will let you know how things go with my vendor in case you want to use him.  My entire dress has to be hand beaded, so I hope he is good
