30 not 13!!!

I just sent all my invitations out Friday, and I am getting RSVP's back for the 13th....I am getting married the 30th!! I should have put the numbers on it not the words thirtieth not thirteenth. Damn now I am not sure how to fix it.

Oh no!! So your invites said the 13th? or you wrote your wedding date on the rsvp's? Sorry just a little confused. Either way I might call to guests to verify the date or send out a 'correction card' with the right date to replace the previous one.

This exactly. I was a tiny bit worried about this happening, but then I looked at the calendar. How are they rsvping for the 13th? Are they writing the date in or what? I thought people just put their name on the RSVP and entre choice if applicable....

Now now. I am getting married on a Tuesday and we made it plenty obvious that it was a Tuesday.

Anyways, I agree with PP. I would either call and clarify or send out a postcard to clarify.

I think Tara's point is that getting married on a weekend is much more common than during the week, so if you *think* you read 13th, that you would realize its during the week and look closer to make sure you didnt misread it.

Yes, I'm confused also as to how they're RSVPing to the 13th. I'm sorry you're having this issue though. I can totally relate with my recent problem.

I'm sure they will realize their mistake.  If you need to, call those people.  Either way, if they show up on the 13th, they may be off on the day, but they haven't missed it and have a chance to redeem themselves

My invitations say the thirtieth of June two thousand and twelve, but for some reason people are reading the thirteenth and calling to say we can't wait to see you and are so excited for your wedding on the thirteenth. I can tell every one who calls but I don't know what to do for the people who just send the RSVP back thinking it says the 13th
