Ok dress for my bridal shower?

is this dress okay to wear to my bridal shower? I was thinking dressing it up with a belt (to cover the elastic) and nude heels! thoughts? ETA: spelling

No set date yet but we are looking at mid May or early June

I think it depends on what people in your area normally wear. People don't wear black as much in general in North Carolina, but I see it being a much more common color in the north making it fine. If you'll be comfortable in it and love the dress then go for it!

I say go for it! I didn't know there were dress codes for showers... maybe it is a northern thing?

Super cute! I've also looked at this dress not for a shower, but just for everyday! I say go for it, just as you said maybe add a little colour with a belt!

I think it's cute and would look great. I personally will be wearing white or some light color, but that's just the way I am. If you like it then you should go for it! Aren't your wedding colors black and pink?
