So I mentioned in the Weekly Checks thread that FI and I tried on wedding bands on Saturday and I absolutely love the only sapphire/diamond band Fred Meyer had available to look at. Problem is that we don't want to spend $428 on one ring. I've even considered having CZs instead of diamonds for that because I have my diamond and don't really care.
In my searching today though I have found one on buy.com that is very similar except it's only $249.
Do these look similar to you? I'm mainly concerned with the size of the stones and width of the band. The first one looked great with my e-ring. I know the sapphires look darker in the second than the first, but I'm fine with that.
Also, this guy isn't swaying our decision at all, but I just kinda want to know if I'm missing something. When we were at the mall, I ventured into a Kay while FI was in the bathroom and the guy behind the counter seemed to think that if I had white gold, FI couldn't have yellow gold. Is that normal?
