Ok ladies, I'm struggling here. Our wedding date is set for June 2, 2012. We have our ceremony site, reception site, DJ and photographer so far. Well, my FI lost his job a few months ago and though he found another job, they do not offer health insurance. He has diabetes and as of late, his blood sugars have been all over the place. I'm a nurse, so I worry about the complications diabetes can cause. He has been trying to regulate the disease through diet and exercise but it's not working, he needs his meds and insulins, which are expensive without insurance. I was thinking we could get legally married and not tell anyone (other than my parents who would witness) so he can be covered under my insurance, which was the plan anyways, but I don't want to wait over a year to get his sugars controlled. Is this tacky? I just don't know what to do. It's been plaguing my mind for awhile now!
