Kissing During Dinner?

So how is everyone handling kissing during dinner? I'm working on ideas and I HATE when ppl clink their glasses during dinner. Thinking of having a large die and having ppl roll to see what they have to do.

Re: Kissing During Dinner?

  • I will kiss my husband when I want to and no other time. If anyone clinks their glasses, I will give them a death stare and continue eating. Why not just not have anything? I'm pretty sure you'll have no issues kissing your new husband from time to time. They can see it then. :)
  • Part of the reason we went with plastic cups..no clinking here.
  • We will kiss when ever we want to, and whenever our guests clink glasses loud enough. I know my cousins and some other friends intend to clink all night long. I think it's cute and have no problem giving my FI (then H) a peck. The whole point of the day is to celebrate our love!
  • There is no clinking. I will only kiss my husband when I darn well want to.

  • I plan on ignoring any clinking. Though, that really isn't something done in my circle, so I haven't thought about it too much.

This.  I don't think anyone will go overboard, but I can't imagine NOT wanting to kiss him that day, so I don't see why I'd ignore any clinks.

  • I actually haven't heard of this... I guess it's not in my social circle.

  • I've never heard about this until a couple days ago on TK. Regardless, we have plastic cups and I intend on kissing my husband the whole night anyway :)

  • I'm actually hoping that, whenever we get pulled apart talking to guests, people clink so we have an excuse to get back together. I might just tell my dad to do that- clink whenever FI/H and I have been separated.
  • I don't kiss FI when he eats meat , so no kissing (on the mouth) until after dinner. :)
  • Even if he washes it away?! lol

I told FI that we're not gonna get separated.. we're going to constantly hold hands (suggestion by the pastor). I've heard so many people say how they loved their wedding but biggest regret was not being able to see H.

  • I guess I didn't realize this wasn't so big in other areas. Most of the weddings I've been to recently have had cute/tacky things like sing a song with the word "love" in it, tell a joke, guess lines from a movie, take a golf put and DJ even mentioned that he had been to a wedding where they had ppl swallow a minnow! Not looking to do anything extreme like that just something fun to engage ppl.
  • We'll kiss when we want to and when the clanking occurs.

  • caribbean culture does this alot.....i mean alot to the point of not letting the B&G have a chance to eat and enjoy their dinner....im hoping that we don't get much of this....i find it annoying and people tend to do it to much...so when it happens i think we will picke and choose when to kiss

  • My FI and I went to a wedding a few years ago where the bride and groom chose a couple to kiss along with them whenever people clanked their glasses. We thought it was a nice way to get other people involved.
