Wedding registry notification

I know it's in bad taste to include registry information with the wedding invitations. However how do you get the information out there? I made a wedding website and posted the link on facebook so the guests can see, but everyone isn't on fb everyday... like me

We posted it on our wedding website. I have also seen it added to the back of wedding shower invites to help people.

Otherwise, people will ask someone "in the know"

Pretty much word of mouth.  I've had several family members ask me outright, and I know they'll pass it along to whoever else needs to know.

We put a link to our website on our STDs, and my mom put a little insert into the shower invites reminding people of our website and listed where we're registered. For the invites it'll be word of mouth.

I know we aren't supposed to put anything in the invites, but herbergers gave me coupons for everyone to get 20% off anything on my registry.  So, we will be sticking those in the pocket of the invites.  I don't want it in the invites but I want everyone to get the deal!

We put our website on our STDs and on our invitations. The registry info is on the website

My mom put it on the back of my shower invitations.  Besides that....word of mouth.

I think people find out from the shower invites but also google it.

Im not having a wedding shower, so no go on that. My family is older so I know they won't do the registry thing. Maybe I'll include it on my fb page and wedding website. We have a small number of mutual friends so word of mouth won't get that far.

I am planning to include the following on the bottom of our accommodation cards:

"For more information regarding accommodations, directions, and other wedding related details, please refer to our wedding website:

www.website.com"

you can always give these to your shower hosts, that is what I did with my BB&B registry info cards we got when we registered
