Saw this on SB and thought it was fun. Made me really think about what years things happened in.

2002: Sophomore in highschool, life revolved around band and advanced classes.
2003: Survived severe thunderstorm at Ichthus, Junior year.
2004: Graduated highschool, first employer closed down, started college undeclared
2005: Grandpa passed away, declared Elementary Education major
2006: Second employer closed down, went to Europe with my cousin
2007: Started dating my a-hole ex, house sat for missionaries
2008: Met FI, graduated college. first car died
2009: Bought car, broke up with ex, started dating FI, subbing
2010: Engaged, first opening day
2011: Took current job, in first wedding, totalled my car
2012: Finally getting married

2003: sophomore/junior, on-off with ass ex
2004: junior/senior,  finally cut ass ex out of life, really bad first half, started dating now Fi second half
2005: graduate high school, start college, awesome year
2006: college, work 2 jobs
2007: college, work 2 jobs, met my best friends
2008: lots of research, work 2 jobs
2009: lots of research, finally graduate, work 3 jobs
2010: Engaged, start good job, finally leave restaurant
2011: Work, plan wedding, friends, family, finding myself
2012: Finally getting married, hopefully get a house, finding myself

It's been such an up and down 10 years, I really can't wait for the next 10 to hopefully be awesome.  Man there was so much I could say for some of those it was hard to keep the words down!

This is a fun idea! I am trying to keep a 3 year journal. So I write about 3 sentences each night before I go to bed...what happened etc...And then next year I will write on the same page for that day, so I can look back and see what I did 1, 2, 3 years ago.

2002: Freshmen in high school, first boyfriend
2003:Sophmore year, varsity volleyball
2004: Junior. Best friend died from cancer. Angry.
2005: Senior . Volleyball sectional. Sprained ankle. Broke up with first boyfriend.
2006: Graduated high school. Started college volleyball. Anemia.
2007: Dating Fi. Double major. Nicaragua for 3 months.
2008: 2nd year college. Spring break in Florida.
2009: Ankle surgery--fail. Lots of volleyball.
2010: Graduated college. Interviewed for position at TOMS shoes. Peru.
2011: Lived in Peru. Engaged on Machu Picchu. New job in U.S.
2012: Got into graduate school. Getting married!!!

My first Bonnaroo, started traveling for music, met more great friends. 2005: 28. Moved to Virginia, realized identity development that happened from age 22-27. 2006: 29. Met my fiance, started loving Virginia 2007: 30. Bought my condo, fell in love with interior design 2008: 31. My boss diagnosed with cancer, unstable year, got my dog 2009: 32. My boss dies, more instability, started presenting at conferences 2010: 33. Changed outlook on career, became more known in my industry 2011: 34. Engaged, continued comfort in career, became a Bee 2012: TBD

2004: First love, first broken heart, first job
2005: Italy school trip, Graduated Highschool, started college
2006: Finished costuming certificate, started real office job, dated idiots
2007: 3 months in Europe, met FI, chased him to Australia
2008: Lived in Australia, turned 21, 3 in months South America
2009: Bought apartment with FI, Started Bachelors Degree program, new job
2010: Volunteered for the 2010 Winter Olympics, time of my life.
2011: Got engaged, Panama Canal Vacation
2012: Getting married in Maui, going to wedding in Australia.

Yup, it was less than stellar, especially when I had all 3 at once because it normally added up to about 90 hours a week.

2002: graduated high school; preparing to go off to college
2003: meet my best friend (who is my MOH) who was my freshman year room mate
2004: sophomore year; applied and got accepted to the Athletic Training program at college
2005: junior year; started dating ex boyfriend
2006: graduated college; passed national boards after several attempts; broke up with ex
2007: re-learned who I was, depressed, lonely;  met FI, happy, confident
2008: moved into apartment, relationship continued to improve with FI
2009: moved away from home to get closer to FI; FI graduates college
2010: got engaged in September
2011: brother deploys in May, planning a wedding, brother comes home in December; emotions are all over the place
2012: stressed with FI finishing up last degree and working all the time; can't wait to get married

2002 - 7th grade I was an ugly freak, parents divorced

2003 - More wonderful middle school with no boobs/awkwardness

2004 - Got my period. Boobs? No not yet.

2005 - Joined track, life changed, got a boyfriend (douche)

2006 - Track/orchestra/friends are my life, more douches

2007 - Obsessed with track, didn't want to go to college

2008 - First year of college, ok transition

2009 - Met FI, huge life altering event, sucked at track

2010 - Worst year, FI's ex sucked the life out of it. 

2011 - Engaged to FI, awesome year, killed it at track/school

2012 - Getting married to FI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always worked while going to school, including student teaching. 2009-2010 I was a sub for 2 school districts and a daycare by day and a head cashier by night (and weekends). Sometimes, I'd get off work at 10:30pm and get a call the next morning at 6am to sub only to close that night as well.



It seems like a lot of us had really bad exes right before we found our FI's. Including FI, I've had 4 boyfriends and the most recent ex was by far the worst. I wonder why this is a pattern with a lot of people. He's the only one I don't even talk to unless I'm forced to be in the same path as him. All the others, I talk to on a pretty regular basis. One of them is invited to the wedding.

Haha - I think we were middle school twins. 7th grade was the worst year of my life. My parents aren't divorced, but my grandma died and I had a seizure at school. Which only made the teasing worse. All of my friends were in a different "group" every year of middle school.

Everyone made fun of my looks throughout HS.  It was hilarious then, when I went to college (hadn't changed since SR year) and all of a sudden I was a babe, and all these guys thought I was hot. It's funny how people decide they don't like someone in 7th grade and it sticks.  Jess, that sucks that you were made fun of about a seizure, kids are cruel. Shan, I'd only go back to hit more people in the shins with my violin case.

2004: Lived in London, graduated from college, dumped by first boyfriend

2005: Moved to NYC, met best friend and first glimpses of FI

2006: First year with FI. Quit "real job" and become freelancer

2007: Run first half marathon, don't die 

2008: Trip to CA with best friend, decide I can never leave the east coast

2009: Work, work, more work. Survive first time being laid off

2010: FI &I move in together, we survive a slumlord

Thanks girls. Meg, the same thing happened to me in regards to looks. I blossomed at a later age. Apparently there were always a few people who thought I was adorable but never did anything about it. Including one of my best friends who later admitted that he used to proposely throw the frisbee over my head so I'd have to turn around and bend over to get it.

2006 -2009 Dated a series of DBags, rocked it as a Preschool teacher, some traveling, volunteer work with teens and kids, Cruise to Cozumel & Playdel Carmen, Ski Trip to Colorado moved to 2nd Apartment
2009-2011 Dated my last DBag, moved to St. Louis from rural Missouri. My life improved 110% just sayin, reunited with a guy friend (future FI) after he broke up with The One Who Will Remain Nameless, begin hanging out with guy friend, dating guy friend, engaged to guy friend!!!
2011- Current  Planning a wedding and loving the guy of my dreams!!

Next 10 Years: Babies!!, soccer mom, working parttime and loving my man and family full time.
