tux stresses (vent)

FI and I went to pick out tuxes tonight. Now we are second guessing everything we chose. Our colors are yellow, gray and white. We are only having a best man, ring bearer, ushers and 2 dads and 2 step dads but no one is really wearing the same thing (except that all tuxes are black) and I dont know if they should be. FI is wearing a gray vest with a yellow bow tie, BM is wearing yellow vest with a gray bow tie (we kind of wanted opposites for groom and BM) ring bearer is wearing same thing as FI. For the ushers we decided no vests and just a gray tie with the tuxes. The really confusing part for us came with the dads. My dad is wearing a white vest (since I am in whte) and a yellow bow tie like the grooms. The grooms dad is wearing a gray vest with a gray bow tie and the step dads are wearing gray vests with gray ties (we chose for the dads to wear bow ties and step dads just ties to seperate the two and to let the dads stand out a bit more. All of the colors flow obviously and they are all in our theme but Im not sure now if it will look strange having the different combinations. Thoughts? I am really stressing over this...but then again I am stressing and second guessing about everything

Stop stressing.  It will not look strange; in fact, I like how you're mixing it up but keeping it similar regardless.

It's going to be and look fine!

I understand your stress, but it sounds like it will be fine. At least your FI will let you be a part of the tuxes.

My FI goes tomorrow to put the names in the books for it and select the colors for him and the guys to wear. He told me what the guys are wearing and I am 100% ok with it. But he will not tell me what his looks like. He said if I can't see your dress you can't see my tux. My worry is that he picked a white tux. I do not like the look of white tuxedos on guys to me it is unattractive. I know for some it looks good, but not to me. But we will have to wait and see.

My guys will match the girls which means there are 3 different styles (mine, moh & bm) so i don't think there is anything wrong with what you said.

I think you will be fine too. I understand the second guessing part. I did that intially with my color choice for the tuxes but I love them! Dont worry about, everything will flow beautifully.
