What is your favorite sport to watch and what is your favorite sport to play?  If they are different, why?

I think its pretty obvious.... Id get throttled in football and getting tackled really doesnt interest me.

Play: I'm not a very sporty person, though I can throw a football and play baseball pretty well. I'm not coordinated enough for sports.

Watch: Football!!!  Absolutely love it, my throat is always sore on mondays from yelling.
Play: I'm not athletic at all.  I danced for 10 years though, does that count?

Watch: Football (mainly ACC/SEC and most particularly my NC State Wolfpack)

Play: Tennis

I love football because it's an event. We have season tickets with two of our best friends and we have a big group of friends that we get out to the lots 5 hours ahead of kickoff to tailgate. It's amazing.

I love to actually play tennis because it so much fun!! I love the social ascpet of it and I just really enjoy the game (I also like watching it too). I've been playing since I was little and played for my high school team. I just love it.

Watch: Hockey. Play: Tennis. I actually used to play roller hockey and the occasional ice hockey game. I'm not that good, though, and now that I'm out of college I have nowhere to play. There's also so much equipment to put on. I love tennis because it's outdoors and I love the short sprints. I'm not great at tennis, either, but I can hold my own if FI is nice with his serves haha. FI is so much better than me.

To watch:  Football.  I am actually overly obsessed and watch it year round on NFL Network.  Our wedding colors are the colors of my fav football team.

To play:  I've gotten into inline skating again and I run.  I was a competitve cheerleader my whole life.. I had so much fun doing that.

Volleyball is the only "sport" that I'm good at. I cheered competitively from 2nd grade through high school, but didn't continue it in college.

Watching: World Cup soccer & the Olympics, especially swimming and gymnastics

Playing: running and swimming

I don't really care about soccer any other time, but god I love me some World Cup. And I could watch 15 hours of Olympic coverage every day, but I like swimming because it's so tense and exciting...and the muscly men in tight suits. Gymnastics gives me a heart attack but I love the artistry and I just think it's amazing what those pint size teens can do!

Running I like because it's amazing what you can do with training, how you can struggle to run a mile one week and then a few weeks later you are running 5 or 6 miles easily. Swimming I love because it's the only time my mind is silent. If I don't concentrate 100% I run into the wall, or another swimmer, or I mess up my breathing. It's the only time I feel really at peace and it makes your body feel so amazing.

Watch: Just about any Olympic sport.  I cannot wait till they start.

I don't really watch or play sports....FI is a sports nut though so if he is watching Aussie Rules Football, i will watch that.....I also don't mind watching playoff hockey (regular season is boring).

Sports I like to do??  nothing team or competitive...I like to ski and do yoga, but sadly, haven't had much time for either lately!

ETA: They are not the same cause I would be terrible at contact sports!!!

Watch: Basketball or Football are the best.

Play: Basketball, although I'll join in any pick up game of whatever - basketball, baseball, touch football, etc. Not the best, but I like sports.

I LOVE to watch Hockey LET'S GO RANGERS!!! I like to play soccer or basketball I would play hockey if I knew how to skate better, I played varsity soccer and basketball so I guess that's why I like to play those

Watch: Football & Hockey--a tie.

Play: Tennis 

Because I can hardly ice skate and certainly don't play football too well.  I'm decent at tennis and it's a lot of fun and a good workout!

Favorite sport to watch: Hockey. For sure!!
To play: Volleyball or softball. I have played volleyball for years and absolutely love it. I started playing softball with my FI and I love it is something we enjoy and can do together.

I love watching most sports as long as its live (dislike watching on tv unless its a major game). I like to play soccer, basketball, and tennis. I would not want to watch a tennis game live or on tv...snoooze.

Play: Volleyball and tennis (Played both in high school and college)

Favorite sport to watch:  NBA basketball (FI and I actually plan our vacations around the NBA schedule and the All-Star weekends)

Favorite sport to play:  Volleyball.  Played it since I was 11.  Went to college on a scholarship for it.  Absolute LOVE it.
