RapidLash

I'm not sure if any of you have ever used RapidLash or even heard of it, but I thought I would shout out my recommendation for it.

It's similar to Latisse, but it's cheaper and you can order it online (I've heard from many that it's better than Latisse). Anyway, it is supposed to make your eyelashes grow more - thicker, longer, darker, etc.

Well, I ordered it a few months ago and finally started using it about 6 weeks ago. Oh.my.gosh. It really works for me! My lashes are thicker and longer and they are actually growing in in a curled up manner instead of straight out which is what I'm used to.

I didn't have really thin or sparse lashes to begin with, but I just wanted to have fuller, longer lashes come wedding time (without going the fake lashes route). When I put mascara on it is crazy amazing how good they look now!

So, there's my review and rec. It worked well for me, and maybe it will work for some of y'all! :-)

Re: RapidLash

  • I use one that is also cheaper than Latisse and works really well. It's had good reviews posted about it
  • I have heard TERRIBLE stories about RapidLash... I think one of the side effects is losing the color in your eyes. Not cool.

I use RevitaLash and there are no side effects like that and it works amazing.

  • Huh, most of the reviews I've read and heard were good! Luckily I haven't had any problems! How could something on your eyelids/lash line affect your eye color? Weird! Well, hopefully it will continue to work for me with no side effects - and if not, I'll try one of the ones y'all use. :-)

Omg that's crazy thanks for sharing! If something has reviews like that I would not try it
  • I want to look more into the terrible reviews and see if I should quit using it (which would make me sad with such amazing results!)

Where did you read the bad reviews?

There are tons of more sites about the side effects, but here are a few.

I just dont think having long eye lashes is worth losing the color in your eyes IMO. With that said, anything you use has side effects so to each her own!

Since it is liquid the odds of getting in your eyes (without you even knowing it) are VERY high.

<div>Well, if that's the case you may want to stop using Revitalash as well! It seems they all have that possible side effect. </div><div>

I spoke with my eye doctor with those concerns.... RevitaLash used a different formula now (since the law suit) so the effects are very, very low compared to the other products.

  • I got nothing.

I would also recommend posting this on the wedding beauty forum if you haven't already.

  • I am happy with my lashes on a day to day basis, but I have gotten eyelash extensions and I loved them. It wasn't worth the money to upkeep them for me but I will be getting them for the wedding.

  • What are eyelash extensions?

LOL Ok. You did check out Revitalash's <em>own website</em> that I linked to earlier, right? It's their current product information and side effects (which includes eye color change). Just sayin'. If it's a concern for you, you may want to think twice despite what your doc says.<div>
</div><div>I'm taking your own advice and going to stop using it. I'm looking forward to hearing what lash extensions are!</div>

Thanks fortheir post! I almost bought it a few months ago and didn't. Then I was going to go the Latisse route, but I don't want to have to go somewhere to get it. I have heard that it could change your eye color. I also heard that any of them could darken your eyelids...I'll probably just go get Latisse.

  • Basically like fake eyelashes but they apply them one by one to your actual lash and they are semi permenant. They last about 3 weeks; or whatever your natural lash cycle is.

They can be expensive.. but I just found out the Beauty School by my house is now offering them!
