Wow I'm surprised I'm not more miserable

Let's see:
-Warren, MI is where I grew up. My parents still live there, I'm there a lot.
-Toledo, OH..spent a lot of time there a few years ago when my friends were living down there
-Flint, MI..lived there last year for a year
-Detroit, MI..was born here. Lived there the first 3 years of my life. Still go there often.

4 of the top 10..not bad.

Funny because most of the others that aren't in MI are in FL which is where people in MI go where they retire.

Hmm.

That kind of makes me sad- there are far more miserable places and those pictures are horrible and don't depict a lot of those cities- they are realities though. But come on.

It's one of those things that you don't really realize how bad it's gotten til you leave.

I moved in with FI down by the Cinci area..real nice area. I am still in shock at how many businesses there are everywhere and how PACKED places are. Always.

The difference is just mind-boggling. Yes, those cities do have positive things about them but most people won't invest the time in exploring them enough to realize that.

That explains why I'm so miserable! I work in Warren and go to school in Detroit! LOL I do live in Walled Lake which I love living on the west side.

I'm with you on it.  I live very close to Warren and know a lot of people who live there.  I work in Detroit and occasionally drive through some not so great areas.  I also have a ton of friends in Toledo and Flint and spend a lot of time in those places.

For REAL. We just moved from Flint to Grand Rapids because we were MISERABLE. It's so sad how bad things are there..
