someone mentioned Rent the Runway a little while back and i just got an email yesterday that they are having their semi-annual sale. normally, you pick a dress (designer mostly) that you want to rent for an occasion. they send you 2 sizes, you wear the dress, return, and they clean it. but sometimes they clear out older inventory (or just things that have been worn a bit) and sell dresses (and jewelry and accessories). don't know how long it lasts, but just wanted to share. you have to join, but it's free.
