So I am very traditional and do not want my FI to see me before I walk down the aisle, but the issue comes up of when we will take photos. The church only does weddings on Saturdays, but does not allow us into the worship space until 11 and we have to be out and have everything removed before 4 for the 5pm mass.
Would it be weird from a guest perspective if the ceremony starts around 1:30 (it is about an hour long ceremony) and dinner doesn't start until around 5 (the reception is at a different location about 20-25 minutes away).
I am thinking we would have the ceremony from 1:30-2:30, allow for a half hour for the guests to leave and have pictures at the church from 3:00-3:45 and then go to the reception site which has a gorgeous park space and take some more pictures from about 4:15-4:45. and then make our entrance.
Or, am I just going to have to give in and take pictures before the ceremony?
