I'm sorry I just had to post this!!!

I'm excited too!!! It was a nailbiter. You would've thought it was the Super Bowl at FI's grandparents' house. But now comes the decision making.....I never liked football until I met FI and they are diehard Pats fans (season tickets) and I've grown to like football. However, my parents and my brother are Giants fans so I've grown up in a Giants household even though I hated football.

Who do I cheer for?

I'm upset that Giants are going to the superbowl. If my memory serves me correctly we messed up and let them win the last time we to the super bowl. Me no likey the Manning boys!!

I'M SO EXCITED! My BFF and MOH is a diehard Pats fan, and an athletic trainer with dreams of working for the Patriots someday; she cried when we won today, that was a terrifying final minute. OT would have been killer.

@Carebear, root for the Patriots - they're the ones you've grown to LIKE football with! I hated football too, until FI was the first person to EVERY successfully explain the rules to me. Now I think sometimes I'm a bigger fan than he is - I'm the one with the jerseys

I'll be honest - I WAS all for the 49'ers winning. I kind of still was, but not after the way the fans treated the National Anthem. During the song, the fans weren't watching the field - they were watching the screens, and when closeups of Giants team members or staff were shown, they booed LOUDLY. Not cool, not even remotely. I realize it wasn't the fault of the players, so I still hoped they'd win, but I really wanted those fans to be disappointed tonight after their own performance,,,

I grew up in a Giants household but hated football. When I moved to Boston for college I started watching football and actually enjoying it and became a Pats fan. I make a friendly wager with my family every time they play each other. I think my Dad is just happy I like football at all!
