Daily Checks Thread?

Since we are getting closer to our weddings (YEAH!!!!) there seems to be a TON of "check" threads being posted everyday.

What if we consolidated (as some ladies have been discussing on FB) the threads and whoever has the first check of the day starts a thread called "DayOfWeek Checks" and anyone else on that day adds their checks to that day.

I know I get excited when I have a check to share and I dont want to wait until Monday to tell everyone.... what does everyone think?

This is a great idea, Chelsea! There were tons of checks yesterday, it was overwhelming! I vote yes

It wasnt my idea... I just posted the thread haha. I give all the credit to the ladies on FB that were discussing it. I think Jess actually thought it up.

I agree!  Or even weekly? It could be a fun Friday thread like "What did you accomplish this week?" kinda thing.

Is this going to be a check thread? because I got so much done this week.  We picked out our ceremony music, we finalized the organist/cantor, finalized the limo, set up a meeting with the cake lady, finalized the guest list, finalized the invitation wording and RSVP card wording, designed the programs and decided our final centerpiece design.  It has been a big week lol.

We already do it on Mondays, but since everyone is getting a lot done daily now, there just seems to be SO many checks threads (which is great, it is just overwhelming on the boards). I think if we did it daily that it would reduce some clutter.

And yes.... feel free to use this as the "Friday Check Thread" haha!

Yup, the once a week didn't end up being once a week.  I'd be fine with daily, it's just getting hard to follow everything with the million check threads and threads about things we've talked about a million times.  Sorry, I'm not trying to mean it's just a lot to look through to find things.

We've done weekly checks for a while now but a lot of people don't follow it.  I understand everyone is excited so I like the daily checks thread. 

I'll probably still just do weekly stuff.  I feel more accomplished that way.  If I did daily stuff I think I'd seem too slow.  Every day for a while it would be: worked on ____, _____, and _____ some more.  Ok, I'll probably just do ____ finished on the day I finish it if we start doing daily stuff.

haha! Me too.... If I get 1 thing done per week its a good week for me! But at least if we have everyone's "one thing" in one thread it will make the board less congested!

I like this idea of the daily checks thread as well.

I bought the spray paint needed for my table number frames. I brought the color swatch for my MOH's dress with me and matched the color exactly.

Beginning of a Check: 

Last night we went to dinner with my FI's Mom and she talked to us about the rehearsal dinner.  They had two ideas that were great, they are just waiting on getting final information regarding pricing.

My entire family is from out of town and will be coming to the rehearsal dinner.  It's just akward that FI's family is throwing a party and mainly my family will be there.  As of now FI's mom and dad (divorced) are both throwing in a set amount of $$ and we will be picking up the rest of the tab.  It was nice that his mom was open about talking to us about the places they were thinking about.  FI's dad and step mom have not been very open about any of the rehearsal planning.  I just want to know that everything is going to be taken care of.

I like this idea as well. I know I sometimes forget everything I did in a week, so if I can post it daily it would be easier (and when I don't want to do anything, it may be the kick in the rear that I need, LOL)
