Mini-checks!

On Saturday my mom & I went and bought all of the wine for the wedding!  We also decided that we're going to do the toast with prosecco since we're all Italian and we like it so much better anyway.  So we bought 2 different kinds and tested them out.   My mom is going back to buy the prosecco, and my brother is going to help her order the kegs (her contribution to the wedding is the alcohol.
I SUPER recommend Pete's Wine.  It's the only place I've seen where mentioning the word "wedding" gets you a bigger discount (instead of a drastic mark-up!).  I think they only charge cost + 10%.  Nice!

Also, the golf pencils & popsicle sticks are off with my dad getting holes drilled in them for the programs.  And I washed all the cloth napkins.  I feel like there's so many little things, but at least some of them are getting done!

Great checks! If you don't mind me asking, how much per bottle for the prosecco? I still would like to have a sparkling white toast. Tried the TJ's which we could have afforded, but I thought it was not good at all, and even on a budget, I would rather serve nothing than something that didn't taste good!

I second Pete's wine. They were great for our wedding! They can supply beer too.
