- tasting went amazing this weekend and the venue coordinator is wonderful! She is such a joy to work with

- had another meeting with the florist

- addressed the invitations

- ordered the rehearsal dinner invitations

- came up with table names for the reception

Got my wedding band back (Confession: I wore it for a few hours at FI's apartment) and decided on BM gifts!

we are naming our tables after things that are special to us: names of our college mascots, where we are going on our HM, street our house is on, lake where we met, etc

We had a very busy weekend and got a lot accomplished.

We bought all the groomsman's suits at Men's Warehouse this weekend while their buy one get one free sale was going on. I got my cake topper in the mail and painted it. I ordered the rhinestones online and am waiting for those to finish it. Here it is so far:



My shower is March 11, so I wanted to find a dress to wear. I found a dress to wear to the shower and also one to wear at the rehearsal. They both are from David's Bridal.

We had a pretty busy and productive weekend! We met with our venue coordinator on Saturday and went over so much stuff. We talked about the logistics and timing/set up of everything as well as the menu (which FI and I are thrilled about!) Passed h'orderves: -fried green tomatoes -ham biscuits with brown sugar -pimento cheese finger sandwiches Along with the open bar, we're also going to butler baby cokes in glass bottles during cocktail hours. Dinner; -house salad with choice of ranch or balsamic -fried chicken (boneless breast) -bourbon glazed carrots -grit cake (with some greenery sprigs to add a pop of color).

-addressed, stuffed and stamped invitations (they are ready to go!)
-ordered calendar guest "book" and other stationary for the reception
-registered @ Target (one more place to do this week!)

*Sorry I have to do 2 posts-it wouldn't let me fit everything in one on my phone.* I also finished our drink stirrers and straws, however I think I'm going to make 100 more straws to put in the baby cokes. On Saturday mom and I went antiquing and we got another decanter for the bourbon bar, 4 vintage dessert plates for our table numbers, my hankie for the wedding day, and 2 blue mason jars for the rehearsal dinner table arrangements. It's all starting to come together and I can really see my vision becoming a reality.

Haha I'm glad you're impressed! We still have to find 14 plates so we're no where near done with that. We also still need a cake baker and I need this hair and makeup person to call me back!

I'm with Chelsea in that I've been quite unproductive lately, we've been do busy.  My hope for tonight is to finish designing the invitations and start doing the flower stuff.

WR: we booked our honeymoon flights NWR: fi and I got a lot of apartment stuff done this weekend, we got cable/Internet/phone installed, we lined our kitchen cabinets & shelves, put our everyday dishes away in the cabinet, and we scrubbed the fridge and freezer clean.

WR--met with our friend who is doing invitations to finalize colors, design etc..
--making a list this week of everything we need to buy for DIY...I just need to buy the stuff so that I start working on it all
--Made more honeymoon plans

NWR--starting a bootcamp workout this week with a local trainer. 3x/week at 5:30am. Eek!
--Patiently waiting to hear back about grad school

Even with being sick, I got a few checks this weekend.

-Picked up FI's daughters's BM dress
-Book day to "play makeup" with my cousin who is a Mary Kay consultant and will be doing our makeup the day of.
-Looked at rings for FI and I think I'm going to Zales tonight to see the specials and might buy one if it's the right price.

I forgot I have checks from this weekend!

-We decided on what foods we'd like to try for tasting.  We also decided on what we'd like to try for our cake tasting.
-I ordered earrings for my BM and greeters.  They don't have to wear them for the wedding, just something to add to their gifts.
-My dress is in! I need to make an appointment for my first fitting.

This weekend we finalized the menu with the caterer and found our baker! So glad to have these out of the way! :-D

- All bridesmaids dresses and shoes are in!

-My mom and I decided to print our own invitations and programs, so we have bought all materials to complete these projects.

-Decided on dates to send bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, and the RSVP deadline.

- I also began searching for dresses to wear to my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner.
