June 2012 Weddings

NWR: Already a good day!

So normally I don't wake up until about 10:00 at the earliest, but I've been up since 5:00 and already worked out for an hour. FI and I are instructing/running a fitness Bootcamp on campus--one at 6:00 am and one at 6:00 pm, Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Although I am helping to instruct, I am also taking the classes. We work out everyday anyway, but I am going to be in the best shape of my life. M/W/F we have these two bootcamp classes, plus I have a 2 hour ballet class, and we are still going to do our normal workouts everyday. We started today with a mile run. I am NOT a "runner", but I have been doing some on the treadmill for the past few months. I have never ran outside until today, and I came in at 9:30 mile! I was really proud of myself, and it can only improve from here. Is it bad that my day is already better today at 8am, than it was all day on my birthday, yesterday? Haha!

  • That's awesome....and a lot of working out!! I hope you're doing lots of resting on Tuesdays and Thursdays!! You'll be able to eat ANYTHING you want with working out that much!! 

    I really want to get back into some ballet classes. We have a new Pure Barre studio in Raleigh that I really want to try out, but it's too pricey to start doing before the wedding. Hopefully it'll be something to help keep me motivated and in shape afterwards!
  • Wow girl, you will definitely be in the best shape of your life!! I have always wanted to to a bootcamp type class and it is so neat that your teaching it!

    I also have really been wanting to try PureBare but there is none in Wilmington :( I have never taken ballet but always wanted to try.  I have thought about going when we take trips to Raleigh but haven't yet.

    That's a lot of working out...I wish I had the time.

    I really enjoy Pure Barre. It is pricey but look into Groupon. They ran an awesome special here in Cincinnati. It was a month pass for only $30. Also I believe your first class is free so it is worth the try.

  • That's awesome! You have way more drive than me haha. I can't lose any weight for my dress because it fits perfectly but I was in pain last night after basketball and it hurt to breathe so FI was like you're coming to the gym with me every night

    I've heard good things about the barre classes and DVDs, but I've never done them since I take classes anyway. Ballet barre is awesome, so I'm sure the classes and DVDs would be too. You can probably YouTube barre ballet class and find some good things from real classes.

    That's awesome that your dress fits perfectly. Mine has to be taken in a few inches anyway, but I'm not really wanting to lose weight, just get my ripped body back. The holidays kill my body! Haha.

  • Good for you! I don't need to lose weight, but I am definitely out of shape if that makes sense. I need to get the motivation to work out! Happy belated birthday!
