My father is a miser. He a former i-banker who has money, he just doesn't like to spend it at all. I haven't asked him for money since I finished grad school because it's so emotionally taxing to ask him.
Anyway, after searching for many venues (that's a whole other thread!), we found one we really like and their rates are pretty reasonable. The catch: they aren't open yet. They open in a few weeks. If we commit before they open, we get 10% off the rental fee. It's a pretty big savings.
We have plan to save about $1000 per month but we've only just started. We don't have the deposit. So I tried to call my father and resorted to emailing him when I didn't ge thim on the phone.
My stomach is in knots waiting for his reply.
