Might have to find a new caterer! Yikes!

So I am doing catering through a small catering business that my MOHs dad is working for through the summer. His boss and owner of the business has gotten 2 staff infections in his leg very close together and has been in and out of the hospital. He's very sick and still in the hospital now. MOH's dad hasn't been able to get ahold of him lately (and he owes him $200) and I am starting to freak out a little bit. I can't get ahold of him either. We don't know if he's going to be alright, it sounds really bad.

So needless to say I need a back up plan. Can you girls give me some recomendations in the Tacoma area? I have very small budget for food. Trying not to go over 1500 for 140 people. I'm looking for apps and finger foods. I don't need table settings or decor. I'm also looking for a very small staff (like 2-3 people).

TIA!

I made a post a little while ago because I went to a wedding recently that used Pacific Northwest Catering and the food was really good.  I can't say much (obviously) about how it was to work with them, but everything seemed to go really well and I know they were trying to keep things inexpensive (the reception was at the groom's parent's house, maybe 70 people).  The thing that made the biggest impression was that the salmon was cooked really well and that's hard to do IMO.  I'd check them out!

We're using Mama Stortini's - their food is amazing & we have opted to do the delivery/setup instead of full catering - it's saving us about $1000. For 125 ppl we were quoted around $2000.00. They are really great to work with too. I have the catering ladies email if you are interested.

Two Chicks Catering and Jonz are both in Tacoma and well-reviewed online.  I haven't tried either, but you might check them out.
