Rant: CA GM apparently didn’t get his plane ticket like he said he would a month ago and this week told FI essentially “Gee, the prices are high.”  Noshitsherlock!  It’s less than a month out!  AND he used to work for an online travel booking company.  No excuse!

 

Rant: CA BM I think lied to me about having her plane ticket.  I don’t want to get into it more than that – pissing me off more I think about it.

 

Rant: Still no word from company interviewed with last week.  They said they would have a decision early this week.  Trying to not freak out.

 

Rave: FI comes home today!  He’s been out of town on a work trip all week.

 

Rave: Solstice day parade tomorrow with MOH followed by final dress fitting!

rant: i originally had a day-o-fun planned for my H tomorrow to celebrate his bday...i called the helicopter company a few days ago to confirm and they said "who? what's your name? we don't have your name anywhere in the books. we're busy all day saturday".....GRRRRRR. they rescheduled me for TODAY, but i need to get off work early now for it...day-o-fun split into two half-day-o-funs.

rave: HELICOPTER RIDE TODAY! the weather is beautiful (at the moment), and hubby's half-day-o-fun tomorrow!

rant: there are still a bunch of people who haven't rsvp'd... we're hoping to get some rsvps today in the mail!

rave: tomorrow is my bridal shower and i am sooooo excited! My bridesmaids have been working so hard and being extra sneaky, hanging out together without me... doing tons of stuff. i'm sooo excited and can't believe the day is getting so close!

Rant: Not sure if I have time to run today. Rave: I have tomorrow off and the whole afternoon to myself! I can sleep, run, and shop. Hopefully be able to clean the house too. This week end should be a lot of fun.

Rant: I want to go out with the girls tonight but also want to have dinner with DH and one of our friends. The girls are having a girls night out and with me still hanging on to the effects of 2 weeks worth of antibiotics I'm not allowed to drink and really don't want to go knowing I'll be the one DD there.

Rave: Stomach infection is gone!!! 2 week long regimine of antibiotics done. NO LONGER have to feel nauseous 24/7. It only took a month to finally feel better.

I got sick on the 22nd of May, went to the Dr's the 27th of May, got blood test results back confirmining stomach infection on 2nd of June, started antibiotics on the 3rd of June and finished taking them the 16th of June. Saturday will be the 19th so it was just shy of 1 month being sick.

Rant: I cant get motovated and have sooo much to do. My kitchen counter and table are FULL and CLUTTERED of wedding stuff. My hair is a disaster and I have no clue what to do with it or how to fix it. I have been thinking of britney spearsing it LOL FI has to work tomorrow. Soooo many people havent RSVP'd  

Rave: Its the weekend. Have tons of stuff to do. FI is working tomorrow so we will get extra good cold hard cash Fathers day on Sunday. Have a fun family day planned out for us

Rant: Hmmm....don't feel like one. How about two Raves instead??

Rave 1: It's dog day in our office! There are 3 Cavaliers (including my dog)! I feel like today is going to be easy work-wise - I might even get off early!

Rave 2: I booked my honeymoon!! Yesterday we met with the travel agent we'd been in discussion with and laid out our trip for two and half weeks to Australia and New Zealand!! Best check ever!

Rant: One of my bosses got back from a long flight last night and is a little on edge.. aka she's cranky! I don't know why but it appears that she felt it was okay to baby sit a friends 3 year old and work at the office today! Really?!?! The kid is running around (having fun but) screaming! How am I suppose to concentrate!?!

Rave: Tonight we are having a wedding party bbq & I am giving all the wedding party people their wedding gifts!

Rant:  All kinds of little things have me stressed out and totally on edge.  I am totally craving one of the Dead Guy beers in our fridge.... About 7 hours til I get home, ugh!

Rave:  I finally will be able to pick up my e-ring from the jewelers AND see the wax model for my wedding ring!  I have been e-ring-less for a week!

Rant: FI has been OOT for about 2 weeks finishing up his thesis.

Rant: My and I are still upset at each other and haven't talked since I told her not to plan to leave my bridal shower early. I will probably have to see her this weekend to celebrate father's day for my grandpa. I just hope we don't get in to it.

Rant: Trying to patiently wait for my book of pictures for FI wedding gift.
Edit: Got the sample pages, they look great. jenny is quick. I gave her the go ahead:)

Rant: Not that many RSVP's. I don't want to have less than 100 people at our wedding:( and of course the usual money worries!

Rave: FI is getting closer to coming back, maybe on Sunday evening:) Can't wait to get pictures hung up and the house decorated.

Rave: FI's birthday is a week and i bought him/us a Costco memebership and a few other goodies:) I want to have people up to our new place to celebrate but we will have to figure out when that can happen!

Rave: 2 job openings opened up but I only have a few days till they close. So I will be applying like a crazy person!

Rant: Just stress in general. 23 days out feels like there is so much to do and I still have a few stragglers from the RSVP's that I need to get confirms on.
Rave: 23 days till the wedding!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and my dress fits as well as all of my girls dresses.
Rant: my Bacherlorette party is suposed to be next Saturday and so far I have not seen an e-mail from my girls inviting anyone! we just got it decided last weekend what were doing (yeah I said we. Me and another bridesmaid because the others bailed out on the meeting) SO hopefuly they get their act together so everyone can attend.
Rave: we were supposed to go on our HM in Nov at a great resport in Cancun. However, last weel FI found out that his company conference is IN CANCUN in FEB! so we decided to have me fly down for the last 3days of the conference and then spend the week after at the resort !!!!!!!!!!! so basicly we don't have to pay for 3 days of our honeymoon or FI's plane ticket! or our meals for the first 3 days. It's all on the company dime! woo hoo

RANT: Um...I think FI slipped me some valium or Xanax in my sleep because I'm feeling all calm today. So my only rants are minor: Found the PERFECT light blue metal pails at Land of Nod online, went to the store yesterday to buy them and the only two they had were the ones they USE and that kids have scribbled all over with crayons. So I went online where they have plenty...and shipping date would be 26-29, um, that doesn't work. Only other option is 2-day..which would bring the total to $50 for two pails! That is not acceptable

Also, Solstice Parade and I will be missing it YET again! We have too much to get done to go over for that...and that also means our routes are going to be all screwed up!

RAVE: FI has totally stepped up! He found and booked us ceremony music! All told, cake and florist came in under budget by about $150 which pays for the music! Pomanders done! Check list is shrinking and...oh yeah....8 days until we get married!!! I don't know who I am and who did what with the normal me, but I'm mostly excited and not feeling much stress. It will all work out just fine!

Rant: Feeling really broke right now!  It's supposed to rain tomorrow.  We had an outdoor picnic gathering planned but now we have find a last minute spot indoors.  Oh well.  Officiant meetings planned for the weekend that I'm not really looking forward to.  Hopefully one will work out.

Rave: Back from being MIA for my grad trip last week but will be off again next week for FSIL's NY wedding.  Trying to catch up on my knotting but sorry, ladies, if I'm in and out this month.  Y'all are so close!  Congrats!  I can't wait to hear how everything goes.

Rant #1: My stomach is still ill from the last two days of shots for my migrains
Rant #2: My daughter is having a friend over tonight and I told her mother what I was cooking for dinner.  The daughter won't eat it.  I feel really bad becasue FI hasn't really had a good home cooked  meal all week.  When I was little and went to someone else's house for dinner we ate was put in front of us and that was it.  Man how things have changed!

Rave: I should have phase 1 of my favors completed tonight and if FI doesn't have to much hw maybe we can get phase 2 done tomorrow while kiddo is at her dad's. 
Rave: Sunday is Father's Day and kiddo has something special planned for FI

NWR Rave:  Tonight is my graduation, it's just an associates from a community college but still, I worked hard and did well and am pretty darn proud of myself.

NWR Rant:  Mother nature decided to give me my monthly "gift" last night so I get to enjoy cramping during my graduation since pills don't really work for me anymore.

Rant:  FI still hasn't booked hotel for our wedding night so it's probably yet another thing he said he would do that I will end up having to do myself as if I have nothing else to do.

Rave:  The menu our caterers came up with looks fantastic and even though we have already tried their stuff at open houses they want to have us in for a tasting of the whole thing, YUMMY!

Rant:  Money.  We have none.  My dad has promised me enough to mostly cover the rest of what we owe vendors.  We have no extra, and we haven't even booked the HM hotels yet because we have to put them on the credit card, but we want to pay off what's on there first.  To top it off, school is now out for summer.  We don't get paid in the summer.  I told the assistant director that I wanted to work before the wedding, but it somehow got lost in translation & didn't get to the director.  I have work for sure Monday & Tuesday, but after that, I don't know if I will have a job.  I feel sick thinking about this.

Rave:  School is out for summer.  My classroom is cleaned/packed up.  We had an end-of-the-year celebration lunch today, and the staff pooled their money together & got FI and I 6 martini glasses, a glass vase, and an awesome glass lamp off of our registry!  People were so generous, and I didn't even work with them most of this year because I was at a branch campus!

Rant:  The announcer at graduation who screwed up my name and tons of other people's names including some poor guy named Alexander who was at first introduced as Alexandra.

Rave:  Bellevue Melting Pot forgot to mark my Guiness as already served and so when they brought a second one the waiter said "on the house"  and the same went for FI's drink as well.

hi mma3 we are looking tacoma area and like 35 people, I need a place and food for around a grand, I find places but then caterers are hugely expensive. sigh
